The Flying Seagulls are an amazing group of performers/entertainers/clowns/magicians and altogether wonderful people, bringing laughs and smiles to some of the most heartbreaking environments that refugee children are unfortunately found to be in. The refugee camps that become home to thousands of young, vulnerable children who have been wrenched from their real homes, are desperate places, devoid of the joy and happiness that all children need and deserve to thrive. The Seagulls shine a light of daftness, silliness and giggles into these dark places, and bring smiles to those children who need it the most.

But make no mistake....the Seagulls are also highly skilled in what they do. I'm a child psychologist and I know that the kind of play and laughter that they are able to bring to the traumatic environments they visit in Greece, Lebanon, Poland and the UK (yes...in the UK too) is crucial to the life chances of these children.

The money I'm raising will go directly to this endeavour....please, please please be part of this with me. I'm no runner, but I will run my skinny old legs into the ground for this.... if you can match my aching muscles with a financial donation, we can pay for some more laughs...
