My Story

Some years ago I met a very special young man called Sullivan.  Sullivan had profound challenges in life and sadly passed away at the age of 4.  In the short time I knew him he inspired me with his positivity and his ability to connect and communicate despite being non-verbal.  I remember him teaching my son sign language.  His parents Richard and Fiona are good friends and they did everything they could to help Sullivan to live as normal a life as possible at home - they skilfully navigated the care system and secured funding to make that possible and they then set up Sullivan's Heroes to help other families of profoundly disabled children do the same so that they may live at home with their families.  I have been fundraising continuously for many years now and nothing makes me prouder to take on this biggest challenge yet of running the Virtual London Marathon as one of Sullivan's Heroes.  Please support me by contributing what you can to this amazing charity.
